Types of Komodo Tour Packages Available
Not every Labuan Bajo tour offers the same experience. The main differences come down to trip duration and whether you’ll spend the night on a boat (liveaboard).

A day trip works well if you have limited time. You can visit several popular destinations by speedboat in a single day, though the schedule is often quite packed with little time to relax. - 2D1N Liveaboard
A good choice for couples who want to experience a Komodo liveaboard without spending too many days at sea.
A typical 2D1N itinerary with Indonesia Getaway departs from Labuan Bajo harbor with hotel pickup included and covers Rinca Island for Komodo dragon trekking, Tukoh Putih Island for snorkeling, and Kalong Island to watch thousands of flying foxes at sunset.
On day two, you’ll sail to Komodo Island for forest trekking, relax at Pink Beach, and snorkel at Manta Point before returning to Labuan Bajo. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served on board. - 3D2N Liveaboard
For first time visitors, this duration offers a comfortable balance between sightseeing and relaxation..
Three days and two nights give you enough time to explore Padar Island, Komodo Island, Pink Beach, and multiple snorkeling spots without feeling rushed. - 4D3N Liveaboard
Ideal for couples who enjoy diving, photography, or simply taking things slow. This package gives you more flexibility to explore a wider area at a relaxed pace.

Komodo Island for Couples: What Can You Expect?
- Meet the Komodo Dragons
Stepping onto Komodo Island or Rinca Island to see the world’s largest lizards in their natural habitat is an incredible experience.
You’ll be accompanied by an experienced local ranger who keeps visitors safe while sharing fascinating information about the animals.
Always follow the ranger’s instructions Komodo Island is not a zoo, it’s a wildlife preservation area, and dragons can appear anywhere on the trail. - Explore Pink Beach
Komodo National Park is home to some of the world’s rare pink-sand beaches. The unique color comes from tiny fragments of red coral mixing with white sand.
Swimming, relaxing by the shore, or simply taking photos together makes this one of the most memorable stops for couples. - Hike on Padar Island
The view from the top of Padar Island is one of Indonesia’s most iconic landscapes.
The hike involves climbing a series of steps, but the panoramic views of three curved bays at sunrise make every step worthwhile. - Go Snorkeling or Diving
Komodo’s underwater world is famous for its rich marine life. Depending on your itinerary, you may swim alongside manta rays at Manta Point, spot sea turtles, and explore vibrant coral reefs.
Always follow the guide’s safety instructions and let them know your experience level beforehand. - Sunset and Starry Nights on the Boat
Some of the most memorable moments happen when you’re simply on the boat.
Watching flying foxes stream out of the mangroves at Kalong Island at dusk, followed by dinner under a sky full of stars it’s a quietly magical way to end the day.
How to Choose the Right Komodo Island Tour Package
- Prioritize a Private Trip
If comfort and privacy matter to you as a couple, a private boat gives you more flexibility and lets you enjoy the trip at your own pace. - Check the Package Inclusions
