An early start in the morning at 02.30 to Penanjakan, the highest sunrise point in Bromo. It is a 45 minute jeep drive. The mesmerizing view of the range of volcanoes of Mt. Bromo, Mt. Batok, and Mt. Semeru unveils along the rise of the morning sun.

Weekday visit is highly recommended to avoid crowds. Hike down to Seruni Point, return to hotel for breakfast and departure. Head to Madakaripura, a stunning waterfall covered by lush greenery, cool breeze, and fresh atmosphere. It is 10 minutes with motorbike to reach the river, then walk along for about 30 minutes to reach the waterfall. Stop for lunch in a local restaurant en route to Pronojiwo Lumajang (4 hour drive). Check-in hotel and stay at leisure. Dinner will be in the hotel.

Leaving for Tupak Sewu waterfall at 05.00 a.m., the most stunning waterfall in the region. The waterfall stands 120 meter tall, a multi-tiered shape, and several streams cascading simultaneously into the below valley.

Continue to Tetes Cave, a lesser-known cave that is hidden inside the waterfalls, in which you need to pass through them to reach the cave. This tour includes some light hiking, descending into valley, and crossing the river.

Therefore, waterproof equipment for your electronic devices and proper shoes are much needed. Return to hotel for breakfast and departure to Banyuwangi. Lunch will be at local restaurant en route to Banyuwangi (6 hour drive). Check-in hotel and stay at leisure. Dinner will be at hotel.

Early morning start to ascend Kawah Ijen, the largest sulfuric acid lake in the world. Departure from hotel at 02.00 a.m. to Paltuding, which is located at 1.800m altitude, then start hiking to Ijen. It is approximately 1,5 hour hike to reach the summit at 2.386 masl.

The best time to visit Kawah Ijen is at 05.00 a.m. to see the blue fire (make sure you arrive here in time and wearing mask). In Ijen, you will find people with the toughest job; the miners carry a basket full of blocks of sulfur 60 kg - 100 kg in their back, up and down the crater. Return to hotel for breakfast and departure.
