Essential equipment to bring during the tour:
Take flight to Yogyakarta International Airport, meeting service with guide, stop for lunch in restaurant, check-in hotel, and stay at leisure. Dinner will be in the hotel or at local restaurant in downtown.
Visit a traditional village Semawung to see Javanese traditional houses. Enjoy lunch in the village. Drive to Borobudur temple, the largest Buddhist temple in the world. The word “Borobudur” is originated from two different words “Boro” means large, and “Budur” means Buddha.
The temple was built by the King Samaratungga from Syailendra Dinasty in 8th century. Drive back to hotel and stay at leisure. Dinner will be in the hotel or local restaurant in town.
Uncover the hidden treasures of Yogyakarta; visit traditional market Beringharjo, Sultan’s palace known as Keraton, Taman Sari Park, Bird Market, Batik, and Kota Gede.
Stop for lunch in the restaurant, then continue to an active volcano Mt. Merapi. It is a jeep riding to reach the lookout point of the mountain. Return to hotel and stay at leisure. Dinner will be in the hotel or local restaurant in town.
Enjoy rafting in the cave, a cave with flowing water. Drive to Prambanan temple after lunch, the largest Hindu’s temple in Indonesia, built in 9th century. This temple is also known as Rara Jonggrang, is dedicated to Trimurti, the three main Hindu gods, namely Brahma as creator, Visnhu as preserver, and Shiva as destroyer.
Prambanan means five mountains, taken from Khmer/Cambodian, Pram means five and Banam means mountain. This refers to the five peaks of Himalayas. Drive back to hotel, and stay at leisure. Dinner will be at hotel or restaurant in town.
